The Canterbury Clinical Network is currently advertising for a Senior Project Facilitator - Kaiwhakahaere Waitara. This role facilitates the work of alliance groups and progresses system changes relating to Urgent Care Service Level Alliance and other alliance groups.

About the role

The Canterbury Clinical Network provides leadership to health system changes that improve our community’s wellbeing. This role facilitates the work of alliance groups and progresses system changes relating to Urgent Care SLA and other alliance groups, as agreed with the CCN Programme Manager.

This role would suit someone that can apply their project management skills and experience to progress change in a dynamic and complex health environment. If you enjoy working alongside a diverse group of people to drive changes that improve the way health services are delivered, then we would like to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitate and support the delivery on a range of projects and system improvements, including the work of the Urgent Care SLA and underlying work groups; and other alliance groups as agreed with the CCN Programme Manager.
  • Facilitate the development of an annual plan of work that seeks equitable access and health outcomes for the people of Canterbury. Report on progress against the plan and any associated risks to implementation or progress.
  • Facilitate positive and meaningful engagement, by enabling all members of a diverse group to contribute equitably.
  • Provide administrative support to a limited number of service alliances or work groups.
  • Maintain effective professional relationships with a range of stakeholders across the system.
  • Work in a way that reflects our alliance principles and demonstrates our commitment to principles and intent of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

  • Has an understanding of tikanga Māori, particularly as it relates to hauora Māori
