The Alliance Support Team (AST) provides advice and guidance on the priority and resourcing of changes that have been recommended by the Service Level Alliances, Workstreams and Service Development Groups and support connection across the alliance and wider system.
This includes advising on resource requirements for the service designs/redesigns recommended by these groups and monitoring. AST is involved with the overarching annual planning as well as the two-yearly worklplans for each Service Level Alliance and Workstream.
This group includes people who are responsible for funding health and wellbeing services for the Canterbury population (i.e., CDHB Planning and Funding, Pegasus Health, Waitaha Primary Health, Christchurch PHO, Canterbury Community Pharmacy Group), secondary services and members of the CCN Programme Office.
AST members attend ALT meetings and participate in discussions, providing advice and guidance as required.
