New website to support falls and fractures prevention
A new website which captures the essence of positive ageing and aims to reduce the incidence and severity of falls and fractures has been launched.
The website Live Stronger For Longer has been designed by older people for older people and includes features such as simple navigation and large font size. It’s compatible with all devices, including smart phones, tablets and laptops.
Livestronger.org.nz brings people, organisations, research and clinical practice together to support older people to live stronger for longer and celebrate independence.
The long-term goal sees the site become a go-to for people who love their independence, as agencies add information and exercise providers confirm start dates for approved community group strength and balance classes.
