Flexible Funding Pool Service Level Alliance

About

The Flexible Funding Pool Service Level Alliance (SLA) was established in November 2010 to recommend how to best allocate the Flexible Funding Pool to systematise service provision across the district and to ensure access and service equity to the population within the funding available. The Flexible Funding Pool (FFP) includes PHO funding - Health Promotion, Service to Improve Access, Care Plus and limited related parts of Management Services funding.

The SLA recommends the prioritisation and development of coordinated and integrated primary health (healthcare and social) services and oversees the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and cessation of services. This includes ensuring FFP is applied in a way that optimises service delivery and aligns with the needs of the population and Canterbury's health system.
