The Canterbury Clinical Network Programme Office is seeking nominations for a Rural Primary Care, General Practice perspective to join the CCN Alliance Leadership Team.

The Alliance leadership team is responsible for agreeing the Canterbury health alliance's objectives and the focus areas and services that need to be provided to meet these objectives.

Guided by an independent Chairperson, ALT is made up of clinical leaders, key health managers, consumers and other experts from across the Canterbury health system. Members bring a range of competencies and clinical and community perspectives, committing to act in good faith to reach consensus decisions on the basis of ‘best for person, best for system’. Members do not represent the views of specific organisations, but bring perspectives from across the system.

ALT meets monthly and is governed by a Charter of Alliance Principles. The ALT is also guided by a set of ALT Operating Procedures. Remuneration will be as per the CCN Remuneration Policy.

Information on the position, competencies and attributes sought from the new member and the nomination form is here.

Nominations close 4pm Friday 1 February.
